To help users find information about the deployment of optical fiber in customer-owned networks, the Fiber Optics LAN Section develops application profiles, presentations, cost models, brochures, and other resource materials. We also maintain a library of articles on related topics, culled from trade and business publications.

Cost Model

Hierarchical Star, Centralized Cabling or Fiber-to-the-Telecom Enclosure -- which architecture is best for your installation?
